Founded by Geeti Persson and Paul Briggs, our bakery specialises in artisanal breads, sweet and savoury pastries, traditional Swedish cakes, and catering services. We pride ourselves on sustainable practices and closely support our local community in West Footscray. With a commitment to quality, we have garnered recognition for our authentic approach to fika, ensuring every bite offers a taste of Sweden’s rich culinary heritage. Through famers markets, catering, and the Bakery Cafe we are proud to share our passion, baked delights and warm smiles with the community.
Every Saturday and Sunday, you’ll find the Inner West Swedish Baker at farmers markets across Victoria, sharing rustic artisan bread, kanelbullar, pastries, hot pies and pastries, and sweet baked goods made with care. We’re proud to be part of the local food community, using produce from fellow market stallholders wherever we can and bringing the spirit of Swedish fika to Melbourne’s weekends.
